She continued to face racism and rejection early in her career as an aviation mechanic. To cope, Tammy became a "master at being invisible around people."Tammy's life changed when she met a neighbor who accepted her and introduced her to a loving community of faith. Now, guided by that faith, Tammy approaches her partners (employees) with those same open arms.“Everybody has a story. Everybody has a situation. It gives you the ability to be compassionate, which gives you the ability to be understanding.” During Black History Month we are elevating Black voices as our partners (employees) share their stories and what inspires them to keep going.#BlackHistoryMonth
