Thai Health Promotion Foundation has been informing people on the negative effects of alcohol, knowing that, still people are consuming it, hence Leo Burnett chooses to convince people to quit drinking by showing them the positive outcome of quitting instead this time around. Gripping Thai people’s attention through their familiar form of entertainment, Leo Burnett comes up with a series of 2 light-hearted entertaining classic Chinese martial art themed online films, where the first film shows people how quitting drinking will only strengthen one’s self consciousness which eventually leads to better financial status and a happier, better life. Leading people to see that a key to success in life is to stay sober and have self awareness in daily life, while the second film aims to encourage and support people with information, giving out fun tricks and moves to help people be strong and fight against drinking in a form of an edutainment film.
Portraits of Dreams – Early 2015, we interviewed four cancer patients who volunteered to participate in a project called “Portraits of Dreams.” We asked cancer patients a simple question: “What kind of life would you dream about if your cancer was cured? The answers to this question were brought to life in stunning visuals, crafted out of the hair these cancer patients lost during chemotherapy sessions. Their lost hair was distilled into liquid, which was then used as paint by artists to produce truly unique art pieces. We then displayed this collection of “Dream Portraits” at a prominent art gallery in Bangkok, and the proceeds earned from selling these paintings were used to finance chemotherapy treatments for cancer patients in need.
