For the holidays, DSW has rolled out a tongue-in-cheek spot that mocks the over the top, melodramatic high fashion ads that are common during this time of year. Created by Translation, viewers are led to believe that the woman starring in the ad is lusting after a man who is at the party she's attending. Only when she whispers "$49.99" into his ear do viewers realize that it's not the man she desires - it's the discounts at DSW.
