It's an incredible achievement, to say the least. Timothy had a daily average of 51 miles during 16-hour days. It was not only a race against time but the environment itself, which is battling record-breaking heat, wildfires, and drought—all along a trail with nearly half a million feet of vertical gain. To top it off, he was crewed by his wife, Krista Olson, also a runner—in her third trimester of pregnancy throughout the expedition—alongside their two young boys. It was truly a family victory, one with immense challenges in nearly every way and a testament to perseverance!
