For International Vulture Awareness Day (IVAD), BirdLife South Africa wanted to focus the world’s attention on these overlooked birds. Introducing the Tuluver: a fictitious bird invented to help draw attention to the real bird whose plight has gone unnoticed. Our message was simple: If we can get this passionate about discovering a new species, why can't we get as passionate about losing one?
