Over decades of war, South Sudanese have been forced back and forth between their home and Uganda. With more than 270,000 people, Bidibidi is considered one of the world’s largest refugee settlements. The COVID-19 pandemic made life more difficult for many of the families who’ve been living in Bidibidi for the past four years. Schools closed and markets could no longer import food from nearby cities. In late 2020, life slowly began to go back to normal.
