Promote the AUB research by making it talkable and introducing the topic into ordinary, daily conversations.2. Find a way to assist Alzheimer patients in their treatment while stimulating their memories.3. Explain a harsh topic such as Alzheimers through football. Through this, we seized the amazing opportunity of creating more tools that could address all of our objectives together. With the support of Alzheimers patients and their families the new tool, the radio, could continue stirring the memories of more football fans around the world.Available to tune in at fm.revistalibero.com. Relevancy We feel it would be relevant because it's representing a football magazine included in the Media & Publications area, and also has pieces in radio. Synopsis Libero is a Spanish football magazine that launched in 2012 with a unique idea: discuss football, culture and lifestyle through the language of the game. Their tagline is “If we explain it to you through football, you´ll get it”. The idea was centered around demonstrating how the most difficult topics between men and women could be better understood if they were explained through football. In 2014, a study conducted by the Autonomous University of Barcelona showed evidence that speaking about football helped people with Alzheimers and cognitive deterioration. Given this finding Líbero, the Spanish football and culture magazine, started a social project in 2015 by launching four special editions, each one recreating a distinct decade. The special editions contained content and exercises which helped hundreds of Alzheimer patients regain their memories. Outcome Magazines were printed to be delivered to every Alzheimer centre in Spain to help thousands of patients bring back more memories. More than 16 centres have requested our tools, and we are printing the first 1,000 magazines to distribute in Spain for the 180 petitions we received online. And with the new radio, 2 news centres and the Barcelona Football Club wanted to join in with this new tool.Even Juan Pablo Sorin, Argentina’s former captain and Barça player, wanted to be a part and support the new tool in order to increase the media repercussion.
