In a new ad campaign for Totino’s Pizza Rolls, comedians Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson star as suburban dads, alongside Chazmo, a friendly alien on his way back home. The real-life best friends and co-stars bring their signature comedic style to "Chazmo Goes Home," a series of spots that comically follow the duo’s encounter with Chazmo, who has devoured their stash of Totino’s Pizza Rolls. As Chazmo prepares to return to his home planet, the dads hilariously confront him, demanding compensation for the snacks he ate. But Chazmo, knowing the great value of 10 Totino’s Pizza Rolls for about $1*, argues that he doesn’t owe them much at all! The spots were created with writer Zach Kanin, co-creator and writer of “I Think You Should Leave” and “Detroiters,” and directed by Alice Mathias of “I Think You Should Leave.” This talented team brings their unique brand of humor to one of their first branded scripts. In an extended two-minute version of the ad, fans will enjoy absurd moments, like Richardson’s character futilely kicking the spaceship in an attempt to get “about $1” from the alien. “Totino’s Pizza Rolls have long been a go-to for after-school snacks, and now we’re bringing these top comedians together to show fans that this snack is an epic and affordable way to enjoy pizza,” said Taylor Roseberry, Brand Experience Manager for Totino’s. “We worked with a group of comedic geniuses who have collaborated for years, and we wanted their on-screen chemistry to reflect the fun and excitement of the Totino’s brand. We’re excited for fans to see Tim and Sam’s blend of absurdity, physical comedy, and sharp wit in the world of Totino’s Pizza Rolls.” "Chazmo Goes Home" will air this month on streaming platforms, online video, social media, and partner channels, including Paramount, Hulu, Peacock, and Vix. The decision to advertise during football season follows a successful campaign during the 2024 playoff season. Totino’s Pizza Rolls also served as the Presenting Sponsor for the 2024 Big 12 Football Media Day, reaffirming the brand's commitment to providing fans with delicious and affordable game-day snacks.
