The enthusiasm for Durga Puja takes on numerous forms - we, at MYNDROOT, were commissioned with the task of planning and executing a Durga Puja Campaign on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, Shree Maahika. The result was a concept where every auspicious moment of the grand celebration was captured through intricate illustrations drawn across grains of rice - thus, on Sasthi, we depicted the arrival of the divine Goddess, followed by a glimpse of the traditional ritual called 'Kolabou Snan' on Saptami, moving on to visuals of the Anjali (prayers) on Ashtami and a feast depicting togetherness on Nabami, finally to be concluded by the Sindur Khela ceremony on Dashami, that metaphorically bids farewell to the Devi Durga! We are sure that connoisseurs would appreciate the art and the concept that bring to attention the intricate, yet often underappreciated craft of rice painting, while simultaneously highlighting the deeper aspects of our rich heritage and culture.
