对于美国的白人父母来说,和孩子进行一场认真的对话,可能就是要讨论“鸟类(birds)”和“豆类(beans)”之间的区别,但对于黑人父母来说,却完全不同,这是许多白人家庭所不知道的——“一场对话”意味着, 要和孩子讨论他们长大的过程中所将要面临的来自社会的威胁和危险,而黑人小孩应该怎么去克服这些偏见,不被美国的警察盯上。BBDO制作这部公益宣传片的目的,就是为了让美国公民们意识到这一点,黑人们正在面临和几十年前同样严峻的种族歧视问题,这些关上门来进行的“一场对话”,需要被公开和意识到。美国社会也应该对此有所反应。每个孩子,都应该被平等对待。
