Purpose driven creative agency Good has announced its second Barnardo’s ‘How I Felt’ campaign series of direct response TV adverts. The advert tells the true story of ‘Jessica’ (name changed to protect her identity), who recounts how after her father died, she moved between care homes and ended up sleeping rough, feeling ripped apart, unwanted and alone. Using Jessica’s own words, her powerful story communicates her struggles with her mental health and how Barnardo’s project workers have helped her find a way through her difficulties.At a time where one in three young people have experienced mental health and wellbeing issues recently, like stress, worry and loneliness, the advert highlights the need for Barnardo’s to provide invaluable support to these children and young people now more than ever.Designed to drive acquisition of new donors to a regular giving programme, this ad campaign is Good’s fourth execution for the charity, having also helped develop a new emergency appeal DRTV ad for the Barnardo’s Children in Crisis Appeal.
