This day of remembrance is one of my favorite holidays, especially in Mexico where family and friends gather to keep stories of lost ones alive. These frames are from a piece I did for @natgeotravel, chasing the story of my relatives in Latin America. According to my late grandparents, our heritage connects back to the Mexican revolutionary heroine Josefa Dominguez, also known as La Corregidora. My investigation neither proved nor disproved the lineage, but I sure loved the journey.
