I'm always in need of returning to nature and finding balance after the often troubling issues I photograph in this country and elsewhere. There’s no time of year more special than any other, nor anywhere else on our Earth less unique than here. Every season is beautiful when we open our minds and spirits to the incredibleness around us. Autumn is a mystical time in the Berkshires, here overlooking the Housatonic River, down the road from my house in the village of Housatonic, part of Great Barrington.
