案例简介：Cultural/Context information for the jury For the past 15 years, Avon Institute has invested more than 150 million Brazilian reais in over 300 projects and actions that have helped more than 6 million women who were victims of domestic violence. But, despite all efforts, at every 2 hours a woman in murdered inside her own house in Brazil. And 52% of women who are victims of domestic violence don’t ever report it. This high numbers make domestic violence one of the most alarming battles in our country. And in the world: according to an U.N. report from 2018, “home is the most dangerous place for women”. The fear to report and the recurrence of this violence has innumerous reasons. But a really important one is the lack of witnesses. Domestic Violence is a crime that happens between the four walls of a house, when no one else is watching.
