Snow leopards scrape their back legs in loose soil, leaving a small depression with a mound of soil next to it. Along with field researchers of @snowleopardtrust, I scouted these mountains looking for locations to set up camera traps. These scrape marks and spray marks were good signs for how frequently the snow leopards visit a particular location. On average, the snow leopards visit this particular ridge once a month.
