案例简介:NEW PADDY POWER SPOT CELEBRATES DIEHARD DISABLED FOOTBALL FAN Lucky Generals has launched its latest spot for the Paddy Power “You Beauty!” campaign, which continues to use the rousing power of song to celebrate the unbridled optimism of die-hard sports fans – this time to the tune of the Spandau Ballet classic “Gold”. Following hot off the success of “Steward” and “Coach Driver”, the new spot celebrates the commitment of a disabled football fan making his way to an away game. During the ad, the disabled fan overcomes typically packed train carriages and stampedes en route to the stadium – but has the last laugh after pitching up in a brilliant pitch side position in the disabled viewing area. And like all good stories the ad has a happy ending for the away fan. When his team scores he pulls out his phone and checks his winning bet on the Paddy Power app, while disenchanted home fans do their best impression of Arsenal fans – by leaving the stadium early. The ad was developed with input from Level Playing Field, the leading organisation representing disabled sports fans. Thanks to their support, the ad reflects the real life experiences that disabled sports fans still face up and down the country on matchdays. The ad’s hero is fortunate enough to have the “best seats in the house”, but frequently disabled viewing areas are open to the elements, have obstructed views and poor access – and this is what Level Playing Field are campaigning to change. The ad airs for the first time during the Aston Villa vs. Hull game on Saturday evening, before hitting screens again during the Arsenal vs. Chelsea Community Shield, and over in Ireland during the Hurling semi-final on RTE on Sunday.
